Okay, I have had a lot going on with work, school and personal stuff the last few weeks and I was going to write an update entry this weekend but..
At any rate, I had to share, I just got a phone call. The graduate assistantship I applied for on August 24? I'm interviewing on this Friday at 11. I really really want this position, so please think good thoughts for me. And if you have any interview tips, I'll take them. I am really really nervous.

Good luck(s) on the interview! When I was babysitting this weekend, the twins saw Lindsay Logan (pre-boobs, pre-party, "Parent Trap") cross her arms, with crossed fingers to wish someone luck. I had no problem explaining what it meant, but couldn't really explain why it meant what it did... I've spent too much time absorbing Uncle John's wisdom, I guess.

As for the interview, I have found that being as prepared as possible always makes me feel calmer before such an ordeal. :) You could practice answering questions you think they will ask, get all your references and whatnot together ina folder so you can just hand it all over to them, pick out your clothes etc. Practicing your answers is proabaly the most helpful...although picking out the clothes is the most fun. lol
